The Group DANOS – an alliance member of BNP PARIBAS REAL ESTATE was for another year, sponsor of the 23rd PRODEXPO ATHENS 2022 that was carried out with great success on October 24-25, 2022, in Megaron Athens Concert Hall.
During the two-day conference, members of the Greek government, distinguished Greek and foreign experts, as well as real estate managers of large organizations and banks presented the Greek real estate market, and offered their suggestions on how development and utilization of real estate can become the driving force of the Greek economy.
Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, General Manager of DANOS | an alliance member of BNP PARIBAS REAL ESTATE during his speech said that Greece is in a different phase from the rest of Europe, where they expect a recession immediately, noting that investments of 650 million euros were made in the first half of the year. He added that we have to observe how the market will evolve and how long the incoming crisis will last. Furthermore, he pointed out, the increase in interest rates will affect yield and will shift investors to alternative investment property categories, such as residential complexes – communities or the health and elderly care sector, which can offer better yield than other types of property.
